EXPERIENCE
AUGUST, 2015- PRESENT
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, CITY OF MCALLEN
Originally I started with the Finance department as a Cash Reconciliation Clerk, which my duties
consisted of reconciling all the credit card transactions for all the departments within the City of
McAllen. Reconcile all returned payments either through checks or credit cards and prepare the
check requests for every McAllen neighborhood under the neighborhood associations. In
February of 2018 I was offered a better opportunity with the Customer Relations department as
the administrative assistant. My current duties are to submit check requisitions, keep track and
submit water disconnections for returned payments. Assist cashiers with phone payments as
needed, purchase supplies for the department using the P-card from the city and submit a
weekly report of expenditures. I also take care of the departments time keeping by making sure
all accruals are entered correctly for every employee and making sure there is no input of
overtime by employees.

OCTOBER, 2013- AUGUST 2015

MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, SECURITY FIRST CREDIT UNION
Initially I started as a part-time teller. I took care of customer’s transactions, and would balance
my box in a daily basis. A few months later I was moved to a full-time member service assistant
which consisted of doing the same thing as a teller but also helped members with a debit card
and check orders, update member’s information on Navigator, and assist members with opening
new accounts. A few months later I was promoted to vault teller, which I overlooked the tellers
and would be in charge of making sure that the vault always had the amount of money required.
A few months after that I was promoted to mem ber service representative which consisted
of the same duties as the member service assistant but now included personal and car loan
knowledge.

JANUARY 2013-OCTOBER 2013

SR, BRANCH ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, ONE MAIN FINANCIAL
As a Sr. Branch Account Executive I would take phone and in-person loan applications and decide
the loan amount that was best suitable for the customer and submitted for the manager’s
approval. I would also close the loan and sell insurance to the customers. I would do phone
collections to all the past due customers and send out Right to Cures if needed; I would also take
payments and file customer’s information and send out the form with the check to the DMV for
change of ownership on the vehicle.

MARCH 2010- DECEMBER 2012

TELLER, LONE STAR NATIONAL BANK
I started working with LSNB as a Teller Floater by helping different branches as needed. Six
months later I became the Lead Teller for the Pharr South Branch, my responsibilities included
doing the teller schedules, EOM reports, buying and selling money from the commercial vault
and auditing the teller's boxes at least twice a month. I would also keep the temporary checks,
gift cards, traveler's checks, and peso logs up to date. When needed I would scan and emailed
CTR’s to the corresponding department, and typed out any envelopes that needed to be sent out
to customers. Then in August 2011, I demoted myself to a part-time teller position due to family
medical issues.
