- Taught United States History to 11th graders as well as some 12th graders.
- Taught World History to 10th graders.
- Taught Panther Pack, an outreach program designed to help at-risk youth.
- Created my own curriculum for both History classes, inspired by my experience student- teaching
in an International School and the Mexican-American culture representing most of Santa Maria.
- Implemented standards-based exams including multiple choice, project-based exams, as well as
implementation of Common Formative Assessments including DBQ’s.
- Collaborated in PLC’s with other teachers and have not missed a meeting or deadline.
- Modified instruction to meet students needs including English Language Learners.
- Taught SAAS, creatively reaching Migrant students with the Write Brain curriculum.
- Started B Strong Life Club at Pioneer Valley’s campus for the first time with our last meeting
bringing in over 100 students for pizza and the gospel message.
