Dear Students,

STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS - CALL FOR CANDIDATURE

In view of the forthcoming elections for executive members of the Student Union
and representatives on the Board of Governors, Academic Council and Faculty
Boards which will be held in October/November 2019, students willing to stand as
candidates are kindly invited to submit their candidature by filling in the appropriate
‘Election Form’. The exact dates of election will be communicated to you in due
course.

Elections will be conducted for the following:

a) TWO executive members of the UdM Student Union from the Rose Hill Campus
b) TWO executive members of the UdM Student Union from the Swami
Dayanand Campus
c) ONE Student Representative on the Board of Governors
d) ONE Student Representative on the Academic Council
e) THREE Student Representatives on the Faculty Boards – ONE from the Faculty
of Business & Management, ONE from the Faculty of Sustainable
Development & Engineering and ONE from the Faculty of Information &
Communication Technology.

Kindly note that the above-mentioned elected candidates will all form part of the
UdM Student Union.

For each of the above positions, the appropriate form is available at the Reception
Desk of the respective campus and must be duly filled in by the interested
candidate and returned back to the Registry section in a sealed envelope, with the
name written at the back of the envelope, by 13.00 hrs on Thursday 3rd October
2019 at latest.
