Methods and coursework
Course Basic logic concepts: Logic states, number systems, Boolean Algebra, basic logical
Description operations, gates and truth tables. Combinational logic: Minimization techniques,
multiplexers and de-multiplexers, encoders, decoders, adders and subtractors,
comparators, programmable logic arrays and memories, design with MSI, logic
families, tri-state devices. Sequential logic: Flip flops, mono-stable multi-viabrators,
latches and registers and Counters.
Method of Evaluation:
Evaluation Evaluation may include but is not limited to the following:
Exams, Quizzes, Presentations, Discussions, Class Participation, Attendance,
Projects, and Internships.
Assessment:
To be awarded a passing grade in this course, you must pass the mid and final
examination. The final grade for the course is regarding the following basis:
