More Cult Movies foundation organizes for the 7th time the free international open air short filmfestival in
Venlo.
-The festival is meant as Film Feast and meeting place for moviemakers & filmlovers.
-The short movies festival takes place on the 17/18/19 of June 2011. -the entrance is free.
-The festival takes hopefully place, again on The Patersplak Steyl .

-The audience and screening panel choose the final winners of the festival.
-This year’s categories are :
1) Best international Film 2) Best regional Film
3) Best Idea/ Script 4) Best director / editor
5) Best camera 6) Best acting
7) Best animation/sfx
De categories can change because of selections.
-the prices to be won are made of the contributions of the sponsors.
-moviemakers are asked friendly to pick up their awards and winnings themselves or sent someone to do so. ----
-Nothing can be sent on our costs.
-Selected Filmmakers are invited to visit our festival.(By camping, stay at host place or otherwise)
-announcements and scores will be placed on the website www.mcmfilmfest.nl
-the winning films can be shown on local broadcast Venlo. Fragments & stills of selected films will be shown in
the promo/trailer/poster of the festival. If that’s not o.k., please make a special notation when sending your
entry.
-It is possible that a special selection of the winning films is made for screening on the Zomerparkfeest Venlo.

-Moviemakers can sent their best films on dvd to: M.C.M. Filmfest, oude marktstr 5,5931 GL, Tegelen, NL.
Deadline for the 2010 edition is 1 March 2011.
No entry fee or application form is needed. (please send bio & stills & pr if possible)
Let us know where you found our festival info.
-In total we show all selected movies divided over 3 rounds. Who sends in the best movies, at earliest, has the
most chance of being shown.(max of 3 movies will be shown on the festival ). Movies will not be send back and
remain in the festivals archive. It is possible they will be selected for another edition. All genres & styles are
welcome. (short movies, animation, documentary, videoclips, comedy, fantasy, video art, professional, amateur
etc).
