Exemption from Suspension of Workplace Activities

We would like to inform that companies which are involved in essential

maintenance activities indicated in Table 1, as certified by the relevant certifying agency
indicated in the same Table, may continue with operations from 7 Apr 2020 to 4 May 2020,
as their activities fall under MTI’s list of Essential Services1 and their related supply chains
and service providers.

2. As you continue to operate your Essential Service, you are required to comply with
the prevailing advisories issued by the various Government agencies to mitigate the spread of
COVID-19. In particular, you must ensure the following:

a. Functions that can be performed remotely must be done from home.

b. Employers must implement safe distancing measures to reduce physical

interactions by:

• Reducing the need for and duration of physical interactions;

• Staggering working hours;
• Postponing all group events; and
