Education at School and Socialization of the Personality

School education is traditionally considered to be the necessary prerequisite of the successful
socialization of a personality. When going to school, children not only acquire knowledge about the
surrounding world but also go through a preparation stage for successful adaptation to life in the
modern world. It helps children learn how to organize their day, communicate with peers, evaluate
and assess themselves and others, and form a complex system of ties with the surrounding world.

However, all the points mentioned above can be achieved without going to school. Attending any
other type of children or teenage group activity on a regular basis can provide equally beneficial
results. Sports groups, ballet classes, a choir or an art group will help a child develop basic
communication skills and organization techniques. Besides, they will also provide them with
important skills and develop them culturally, physically, and spiritually.

At the same time, if combined with homeschooling, they can provide a good alternative to school
education. Learning at home alone or in a group of a few other students under the supervision of a
highly professional teacher who is focused entirely on the material prepared for these very
children can be much more effective. Moreover, such a form of education can help protect children
against the negative influence of the street, sometimes even saving their lives.
