modern world of work is changing, and challenges and expectations have changed. There are a
number of different approaches to developing a career path today. And you need to understand the
tools and skills needed to help you achieve success. Throughout the course, you'll be guided by your
lead educator, Jen Rosen. Jen is a Senior Communications Specialist, pitch coach, and filmmaker.
She works with global clients in strategic, integrated communications for the public, private, and not-
for-profit sectors.

You will hear from Jen throughout the course as she coaches you on different aspects of effective
communication in the workplace. This course is an introduction to planning for and achieving
success in your career. You'll learn how to identify and develop your knowledge and skills, navigate
job adverts, and understand interview and application requirements. You'll also learn how to discuss
transferable skills and build and utilise your professional networks. You will hear from people who
