1. How easy is this tool to set up and manage?

a. It is extremely easy to set up this tool and manage it. You just add your students,
parents, and other teachers by adding their name, email, and phone number if
wanted. Then you can send out announcements or message people singly or in
groups.
2. Is this something you think would be good for teacher-student, teacher-parent or student-
student communication?
a. I think it would be good for teacher-student and teacher-parent. If this was
acceptable by the district for teacher-student communication, I think I would be
an excellent resource in older grades, who have technology they take home with
them or have all the time at school. Another great thing about this resource when
considering teacher-student communication, the teacher’s administration can see
the conversations between teacher and student. This resource can also keep
parents up to date on their children's classes and ask the teacher any questions and
come to them with any concerns.
3. Was there anything challenging or confusing in accessing messages for your volunteers?
a. The only thing I would have to say was a bit challenging is my volunteers, not in
this class, had to make an account they would just be using for helping me.
4. Is the cost in set-up time worth it for the end communication success?
a. Yes, it is. It is such a simple and organized way to communicate.
5. If you had a need for a virtual student communication tool, what would you lean towards,
as it stands right now?
a. I would lean towards Remind, because of my great experience with it.
