NOTIFICATION FOR PROJECT

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES (AECC-2)

6th Semester, 2020

Date:20.04.2020

Students of 6B and 6E sections are hereby instructed to follow the given guidelines to construct their
ENVS compulsory project (30 Marks):

 Spiral binding is mandatory

 A4 size page will have to be used for hard copy
 Photo must be colored
 Computerized soft copy of the project has to be submitted through email by 30.04.2020 to the
ID: aparajitamukherjee.in@gmail.com and thereafter you have to upload the project for which
instructions will be given
 The hard copy submission date will be announced later according to the C.U. guidelines
 Project should be of minimum 15 pages and maximum 30 pages

Project must contain the following segments:

 The first page will have a bold heading, a mandatory relevant colored photo and the name, CU
Roll No. and Registration No. of the student
 The next page will be of Acknowledgement. At the beginning students will acknowledge our
honorable Principal Madam and HOD and thereafter ENVS teachers (Mrs. Ananya Kundu Dey
and Mrs. Aparajita Mukherjee) and also others who may be helping in the project construction.
 The next page will contain the Index
 The next page will have an Abstract about the project minimum of 15-16 lines
 The next segment will be Introduction. 3 to 4 page discussion is required under introduction.
 Next will be the discussion of the Objective of the study (maximum 3 pages)
 Next mention the study area with the specific location (if any) along with geographical
information (latitude, longitude) and a mandatory satellite image of the location
 Next discuss why the project has been chosen (importance of the project)
 Next discuss the methodology (how the work has been done)
 The next segment is Result and discussion (graphs, flow charts, flow diagrams or pie chart
representations are required and thereafter discuss those)
 Conclusion (Public awareness and Governmental anticipation should be mentioned)
 Bibliography (The sources of the information of your project should be mentioned)
