About the French Language Training


French Language Training is a 6-week online training program to help you learn one of the world’s
most popular foreign languages. In this program, you will learn how to read, write, understand
(listen) and speak beginner level French and use it in day to day interactions. This training consists of
high-quality video tutorials and is packed with assignments, assessments tests, quizzes, and practice
exercises for you to get a hands-on learning experience. The highlight of the training is an in-built
speech recognition engine to help you practice speaking in French (say hello to tech in ed-tech!).

By the end of this training program, you would have built a strong foundation in French language
and will be able to use it in general every-day conversations like when greeting someone, asking for
directions, expressing likes and dislikes, and more. For doubt clearing, you can post your queries in
the forum and get answers within 24 hours.

​ Get started with your journey of learning French Language by finding out that you already know
quite a bit of French (surprise!), learning how to greet people correctly as per formal/informal
situation, and asking their name or how they are.

What is this training program about?


This is an online training program in which you will learn about French Language. You will
learn how to greet other people, introduce yourself and others, express your likes, dislikes
and preferences, have basic day-to-day conversations like talking about your daily routine,
any ailments, describing people, and more. After this training, you will be able to read,
write, speak and understand (listen) basic beginner-level French.

How will the training be imparted?


You will be taught via high quality video tutorials. This training is packed with assignments,
assessment tests, and rigorous quizzes for you to get a hands-on learning experience. You
will also get to practice French speaking with the help of an in-built speech recognition
engine (say hello to tech in ed-tech!)

What is the duration of this training?


This is a 6 weeks training program.

What are the timings of this training program?


As this is a purely online training program, you can choose to learn at any time of the day
according to your convenience.

Who can join? I am a beginner/advanced user, can I join this program?


Anyone who is willing to learn and has an interest in the French Language can opt for this
training program. However, please note that this program is meant for beginners who have
no or little prior knowledge of French.

Are there any prerequisites for joining this program?


This program is for beginners and everything will be taught from scratch. There are no
prerequisites other than an internet connection and basic knowledge of English as medium
of instruction would be English.
Will there be any assignments that I will get to work on?
Yes, the training is packed with assignments and practice questions that would encourage
you to explore the French Language further, and also practice the concepts you’ve learnt.

What hardware/software are required for doing this training?


No special hardware or software is required for doing this training. A working computer,
laptop or even a mobile phone with an internet connection would do.

Will there be a certificate provided at the end of the training?


Yes, a certificate will be provided by Internshala upon completion of the training. You may
download a soft copy of the certificate through our portal.

Will I be able to download the training content?


Yes, you will be able to download the training content.

Can the material be used by a group of students?


No. These training programs are meant for individual users. Multiple users will not be
allowed to access the portal using the same account.
