I -Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the student should be able to:
a. define gender of noun;
b. differentiate the four gender of noun;
c. cite examples of each gender of noun.

B. Motivation
The teacher presents pictures of the different personalities. She will ask the student to say
something about the pictures. After that she will explain what is the difference between
the sex and gender. That’s the time that the teacher will introduce the topic entitled “
Gender of Noun”.
C. Presentation
The teacher introduces the topic using inductive method. She begins from defining
gender. After that she will unpack the types of gender of noun, give the definitions and
cite various examples.
D. Application
The teacher group the class into four. She will ask each group to explain the asign task to them.
One representative of each group will deliver their work on front.

E. Generalization
The teacher will give the over all discussion on that session. She will also give feedbacks,
comments and suggestions to the activity made by the students.

VI- Assignment
Encircle the nouns, then write the correct anwer on the respective column. Put your
answer on ½ sheet of paper.
1. My grandmother live with our family.
2. They used to live in Marikina City.
3. My little sister loves us very much.
4. They say my mother is a good cook.
5. The children with thie neighborhood play Patintero.
