VOCAL SOLO CONTEST

General Guidelines

1. The contest is open to all LC Students.

2. Each college shall have one (1) representative.
4. Contestants must provide their accompaniment in a CD/DVD copy or in
a flashdrive.
5. The song must be an Original Pilipino Music (OPM), either English or
Filipino. The lyrics of the OPM song together with the song artist shall be
submitted to the LitMus committee on September 13, 2019 for
verification.
6. Delivery must be from three (3) to five (5) minutes.

Criteria for Judging

Voice quality (tonality, appropriateness to genre, & technique) -45%
Style and Performance (rendition qualities, discipline, timing 
and precision, delivery & interpretation,
appropriateness of staging of song selected ) -
35%
Over-all Appeal (stage appeal, audience impact, & costume) -
20%

Guidelines
1. The contest is open to all LC Students.
2. Each college shall have one (1) pair of contestants.
3. The contestants may be both females, both males, or a pair of male
and female.
4. The song must be an Original Pilipino Music (OPM), either English or
Filipino. The lyrics of the OPM song together with the song artist
shall be submitted to the LitMus committee on September 13, 2019
for verification.
5. There shall be two (2) voice parts.
6. Delivery is strictly three (3) to five (5) minutes.

Criteria for Judging

Voice quality (tonality, tonal blend & technique) - 50%

Style and Performance (rendition qualities, discipline, timing
and precision, delivery & interpretation,
appropriateness of staging of song selected, 
& teamwork) -30%
Over-all Appeal (stage appeal, audience impact, & costume) - 20%
