Unit 2: Physical Science Notes

 Atomic structure:

- All matter made of atoms.

- Atoms have 2 regions:

1. Nucleus 2. Electron cloud

Protons Neutrons electrons (negative=0amu)

(positive=1amu) (neutral=1amu)

- Neutrons + Protons= mass number

- Protons = Atomic number

 States of matter:

- There are 3 forms of matter: solid, gas and liquid

- Difference between physical and chemical reaction:
