    Subject: Clinic Fee Exemption Request

    Dear Dr. Martires:

    We, the UEP CVM Senior and Junior Clinicians of the University of Eastern Philippines, College of
    Veterinary Medicine, would like to appeal to the goodness of your heart to consider the waiving of the
    Semestral Clinics Fee of P3,500. We would like to suggest if possible that such fee be included instead on
    the CHED’s yearly budget allocation so as to alleviate the burden on us, the students. Some of us are
    having difficulties paying the said fee and are just relying on the allowances sent to us by our parents
    which as it is we are having challenges budgeting it for our daily living expenses. Such assistance and
    waiving of the said fee per semester will be a great help to us and will ensure that the allowances we are
    getting from our parents are appropriated to more important expenses such as our board and lodging as
    well as daily expenses. We consider the University of Eastern Philippines as our second home and this is
    all possible because of excellent professors, staff and officers such as yourself. We are a few steps away
    from fulfilling our dreams to be Doctors in the field of Veterinary Medicine and we would consider it a
    debt of gratitude, your positive response to the matter and will carry it in our hearts and in our minds till
    the day we become doctors whom you will be proud of. Praying for your positive response.
