INNOVATIVE SERVICES The maintenance costs are dramatically increasing due to the
VIA INTERNET higher safety standards required and to the increasing hourly
costs of technical manpower and management staff.
The new interface CTW allows to the installers and maintenance
managers to conduct, via Internet, a remote check
of a Beghelli centralised emergency lighting systems
(CT, CTOC, CTS).
With a modem and a PC it is easily possible to obtain all the infor-
mations related to the periodic maintenance of the
emergency lighting installations, without wasting time for a
direct visual inspection.
The installer can access to information directly or via internet ,
CTW provides the link between the remote CU and the modem,
directly or via the selected internet service provider.
Accessing the site www.beghelli.it, every installer can receive all
the updated informations, normally showed by the CU’s display.
The data are managed confidentially by restricting the access
with an individual password.

CENTRAL MODULE FOR COMPUTER

14
CTW Central Test Web Controller

No specific software knowledge is needed to access to the infor-

mation, it is just necessary to be familiar with a standard internet
browser.
Furthermore www.beghelli.it allows to operate on the system
under control : it is possible and easy, when necessary, to con-
duct a funtional, operational or a full duration test.

The installers can also receive at home, directly in their

mail box, the data related to the emergency lighting installations
under their responsibilities.
It is another innovative service offered by www.beghelli.it.
Another dramatically important advantage is due to the multiple
control of many installations at a time, with only one link to the
selected internet provider. Never before the maintenance produ-
tivity had been so high.

For special and customized applications, when a direct real time

access it is required to interact with the installation, CTW can be
linked by a telephone call to the remote CU.
In this case a dedicated software, supplying a graphic interface,
allows driving the immediate access to the informations and
operating in real time on the installation from the PC keyboard.

The CTS can also be programmed to operate in the emergency

Additionally by a mains-present sensor , the interface booster
