DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES

This / These to indicate someone or something near the speaker.


That / Those to indicate someone or something far from the speaker.

Singular Plural
This woman These women
This boy These boys
That child Those children
That book Those books

! ! ! Note: They can be used as both adjectives and pronouns.

Examples:
