Our new Ratios page contains key stock details featuring index and peer comparisons.

Index Comparison

The Index Comparison section


allows you to compare up to
five indexes against your
selected stock. By default U.S.
companies are compared to A

the S&P 500 and their U.S.
Sector values. Non-U.S.
companies are compared to
their S&P Regional Index and
Global Sector values. To
customize additions to the
defaults displayed, click
“Select up to three indexes”,
make your selections, then
click “View Comparison”.

INDEX COMPARISON ABOUT THE DATA
A Key Ratios Company level ratios data is from Thomson
The Index Comparison section allows investors to compare a stock to variety of indexes. Reuters. Thomson Reuters is our primary source
for earnings and financial statements data.
• Compare the focus stock to US and International Sectors
Thomson Reuters also provides the data for
• Compare the focus stock to US and International broad market indexes
International companies. Index data is provided
• Compare multiple indexes to the focus stock by Standard & Poor's.
B By default U.S. companies are compared to the S&P 500 and their U.S. Sector values. Non-U.S.
companies are compared to their S&P Regional Index and Global Sector Values.
• The "Select up to three indexes” link contains additional S&P indexes that can be compared to your stock. Print

D Ratio Categorization
Ratios have been bundled together into six categories: Valuation, Annual Growth, Dividends, The ratios page contains an enhanced
Profitability, Financial Strength, and Management Effectiveness. Each section can be expanded print function that creates an easy to read
or collapsed by clicking the icon next to section name. report-like print out of your analysis. To
use this feature, click the "Download
Comparisons" link located on the top right
E View as Yield of the page.
The Valuation section contains a "View as Yield" link. This feature allows you to view the inverse
values of these ratios. For example, Price/Earnings is displayed by default. However, many
investors also are interested in a company's Earnings Yield (or Earnings/Price). Simply click the
"View as Yield" link to see the inverse value. This feature is applicable to the Valuation section
only.

F International Companies
Ratios are available for thousands of ADRs and over-the-counter traded Foreign Ordinary
Shares. Note that reporting periods vary by country. To help clarify these variations reporting
periods are defined at the bottom of the Company Ratios section.
