According to the video, I think that to make plastic bottles takes too much energy, also
the collected plastic bottles for recycling are too low. If we choose don´t buy plastic
water bottles the problem will reduce.

- What is the difference between bottled water and drinking water?

The main difference turns out to be obvious: drinking water is free and the most
important: drink tap water don´t involve the contamination related to the bottle
plastic water.

- Describe the process involved in manufacturing a plastic bottle.

The plastic water bottle manufacturing process takes place in stages. The problem
starts with the extraction of resources used to make water bottles. Typically, the
plastic bottles are made from polymer, even though this material is both strong and
light is not friendly with the environment and takes too much energy.

- What happens with the plastic bottles after we throw them away?

In the end, the main percent of these bottles ends up the lands fills or in incinerators,
where they are burned releasing toxic pollution. When we recycle plastic bottles we
contribute to reducing the use of materials

The solution should start with every one of us, we can choose to reduce the bottled
water consumed and when we do that, we will sure that be reusing when we throw
them away.

community do to deal with it?

This problem is common around the world even though at my community the plastic
bottle is used mainly for drink colas. My town does not have a public policy to deal
with
the problem, however, lately I see often more people collecting plastic an others
recycle materials, homeless people who came from Venezuela.

- Will you drink bottled water again? Why, why not?

When we look for other options like to carry on my bottle of clean water and refill it
when being empty, we can avoid using bottled water again.

- What will you do in the future to reduce the number of plastic bottles
used in the world?

Also of carrying on my bottle of clean water to avoid buying plastic bottles, I going to
share the video information with family and friends to help them to take awareness.
