As we try to navigate this strange time in our world, many of us who are able, are doing our part and
staying home to help flatten the curve and return to normalcy soon. Since it’s hard to find direction
and ambition during this time I’ve put together something for you that will help you align yourself
with your goals, learn something new and form good habits that will last. In a world full of things we
can’t control, let’s focus on something we can!
This is the 30-day guitar challenge. From April 1st to April 30th I will be going live on YouTube every
single day and sharing a lesson with you, then answering your questions about the lesson. I’ll be live
on YouTube for 60 hours over the next month!
They say it takes 30 days to establish a habit. If you’ve always wanted to see a dramatic improve-
ment in your playing, there is no better time to send yourself on a journey to advancing. After these
30 days, you will be in the habit of learning something new every day, picking up that guitar every
day, and pushing yourself to advance every. single. day.
I’ll be giving you links every day to the lessons inside my program. In order for these links to work,
you’ll need to be signed up! Here’s how:
For Beginners- the lessons are FREE! Choose “UGS Standard” from the link below:

To get the advanced lessons, sign up for “UGS Pro” from the link below:

Here’s the breakdown: Each day, I’ll go live at 11 a.m. CST (many of you know the drill!) I’ll be live
for 2 hours. The first hour will be dedicated to beginner lessons. I’ll teach, we’ll have a round of Q&A
for the rest of the hour. The second hour will be an intermediate to advanced lesson, then a round
of Q&A to finish out the stream. If you’re not sure where you fall on the beginner-to-advanced spec-
trum, I’ve provided a list of lesson topics I’ll be covering so you can gauge what you already know
and decide which hour to tune in every day.

Additionally, getting better at the guitar might not be the only goal you’ve set for yourself while we
hunker down and do our part. Keeping up with your mental health and wellness is key to living a
healthy lifestyle and reaching your full potential. I’ve gathered up some additional challenges, pro-
grams and advice from people I look up to in order to help you establish some additional goals to
incorporate alongside your playing.
Tony Robbins is a force to be reckoned with. I have read his books and followed many of his meth-
ods since the early 90s. Essentially, he is a broker of proven, game-changing information in just
about every major field imaginable.
Start here with his app: https://www.tonyrobbins.com/breakthrough-app/
There is enough info there to change any area of your life that you DESIRE to see changed.
30 day push up challenge: Do 1 push up on the first and add another each day, so that on day 30,
you can do 30 pushups. Can be done with squats, sit ups or any other exercise that you see fit. If
you need help deciding what to do, do at least the push-ups and squats. Those exercises work out
a LOT of muscles.
I created a hashtag for you to use for this challenge so you can share your progress, ask additional
questions, and tell your friends and family about how you’re reaching your potential. Use the hashtag
#ygs30challenge on social media and tag us!
