2 Changes in the version 2.6.0
2.1 New features
Universal MODBUS switches
New eight Logical Binary Inputs (Modbus Sw1 – Modbus Sw 8) has been added to existing MODBUS
register for writing 46338.
Bits meaning:
bit 0 – LBI „Modubus Sw 1"

New eight Logical Binary Outputs (MB LBO 1 - MB LBO 8) has been added. This LBOs can be configured
to controller’s physical binary outputs 1 - 8.
Logical Binary Inputs (Modbus Sw1 – Modbus Sw 8) are mapped to Logical Binary Outputs (Modbus

GenStopFail
New setpoint "GenStopFail" has been added to setpoint group "Gener Protect" in PWR version, and to
setpoint group "Basic Settings" in STD version under setpoint "GenerProtect" setpoint.
This setpoint take the value "Enable" and "Disable"
Enable
Standard ATS behavior. For more information see the IA-NT user guide.
Disable
The alarm "GenStopFail" didn´t and pop-up when the generator voltage is > 0V and/or the binary
input signal "GenReadyToLoad" is present when the engine has to be stopped.
Load Shed
New logical Binary Input "Load Shed" has been added.
This input takes following actions when is activated
Open GCB in MAN and AUT mode when this binary input is activated.
Close GCB back in AUT mode when this input is deactivated and all condition for GCB closing are
met.
Do nothing in MAN mode when this binary input is deactivated.
Ignore signal "Load Shed" in OFF and TEST mode.

3 Changes in the version 2.5.0
3.1 Repairs
Alarms on binary inputs 5, 6, 7 (PWR version only)
Alarms were not recorded in alarmlist. Now when configured alarms are active, they are recorded in
alarmlist.
Active Call Fail for channel 2 (PWR version only)
When email address was adjusted only for email address 1 and email address two was blank, then
ActCallCH2Fail was activated when email was send. Now alarm is not evaluated when only email
address 1 is adjusted.
Source evaluation - Mains healthy binary input (STD and PWR version)
Following changes were made:

GenReadyToLoad binary input

Indicates when the gen-set is ready to take over the load. Conditions for successful gen-set start and readiness
to take over the load can be evaluated from the voltage and the frequency of the generator or from the state of
GenReadyToLoad input or from both sources. The conditions have to be fulfilled during time defined by Basic
Settings: Max Start Del setpoint (which can be even unlimited).
Note: When this binary input isn’t configured, the setpoint GenerProtect is adjust to value ENABLED and this
value can’t be changed.

MainsHealthy
Indicates when the mains is ready to take over the load. Conditions for take over the load can be evaluated from
the voltage and the frequency of the mains or from the state of MainsHealthy input or from both sources.
Note: When this binary input isn’t configured, the setpoint MainsProtect is adjust to value ENABLED and this
value can’t be changed.

GenerProtect [ENABLED/DISABLED]
Setpoint enable or disable evaluating of generator voltage and frequency values.
ENABLED: Values are used for evaluating of state of source and for protections.
DISABLED: Values are not used for evaluating of state of source and for protections. If terminal for
measurement are connected to controller, values are just shown on measuring screen.
Note: When binary input GenReadyToLoad isn’t configured, the setpoint GenerProtect is adjust to value
ENABLED and this value can’t be changed.

MainsProtect [ENABLED/DISABLED]
Setpoint enable or disable evaluating of mains voltage and frequency values.
ENABLED: Values are used for evaluating of state of source and for protections.
DISABLED: Values are not used for evaluating of state of source and for protections. If terminal for
measurement are connected to controller, values are just shown on measuring screen.

Note: When binary input MainsHealthy isn’t configured, the setpoint MainsProtect is adjust to value ENABLED
and this value can’t be changed.

Comms Settings (STD version only)

communication isn’t supported in standard version of IA-NT, this group of setpoint was removed from
controller
IMPORTANT: Communication via modules IL-NT GPRS and IB-Lite was never supported in IA-NT
STD. In FW 2.4 it was bug.

5 Notes
5.1 Behavior of MODBUS switches
bit 0 – LBI „Rem Start/Stop“
Engine will starts when Log „1“ will be written into register and stops when Log „0“.
bit 1 – LBI „MCB Button“
MCB will open when the bit is changed from log “0” to log “1” when the breaker is close.
MCB will close when the bit is changed from log “0” to log “1” when the breaker is open.
Modbus master device will automatically write log “0” into this register to proper position after or before
each command.
bit 2 – LBI „MCB Disable“
Log “0” MCB is enabled
Log “1” MCB is disabled
bit 3 – LBI „GCB Button“
GCB will open when the bit is changed from log “0” to log “1” when the breaker is closed.
GCB will close when the bit is changed from log “0” to log “1” when the breaker is open.
Modbus master device will automatically write log “0” into this register to proper position after or before
each command.
bit 4 – LBI „GCB Disable“
Log “0” GCB is enabled
Log “1” GCB is disabled
bit 5 – LBI „FaultResButton“
FaultResButton react when the bit is changed from log “0” to log “1”.
Modbus master device will automatically write log “0” into this register to proper position after or before
each command.
bit 6 – LBI „Rem TEST OnLD“
Rem TEST OnLD react when the bit is changed from log “0” to log “1”.
Modbus master device will automatically write log “0” into this register to proper position after or before
each command

5.2 Source evaluation

Source evaluation is same for generator and mains. Setpoints and binary inputs connected with source
evaluation are:
GenProtect setpoint (for generator)
MainsProtect setpoint (for mains)

Inteli ATS 2.6.0 New Features List 9

GenReadyToLoad binary input (for generator)
MainsHealthy binary input (for mains)
State of source can be evaluated in these ways:
Binary input only
Measured values only
Binary input and measured values

5.2.1 Binary input only

In this case the binary input GenReadyToLoad or MainsHealthy has to be configured. After configuration of
binary input, related setpoint GenProtect or MainsProtect should be adjust to DISABLED. After that the source
will be evaluated only from binary inputs.

5.2.2 Measured values only

In this case the binary input GenReadyToLoad or MainsHealthy can’t be configured. Related setpoint
GenProtect or MainsProtect is adjust to value ENABLED and its value can’t be changed. Source is evaluated
only from measured values (voltage and frequency).

5.2.3 Binary input and measured values

In this case the binary input GenReadyToLoad or MainsHealthy has to be configured. After configuration of
binary input, related setpoint GenProtect or MainsProtect should be adjust to ENABLED. After that the source
will be evaluated from both sources. To evaluate that source is health the values of voltage and frequency have
to be in limits and also related binary input has to be in logical one.
