1. Carinosa
- Another dance which was called the
Philippine National Dance aside from
its rival, Tinikling. The name cariñosa
means “loving or affectionate one”. It
is basically a dance meant for flirting.
A fan or a handkerchief is usually plays
a vital role in performing this dance.

2. Tinikling
- Is that the steps mimic the way
a duck walks, as well as the way
it splashes water on its back to
attract a mate.

named Kanang who
choreograph the steps while
dancing at a baptismal party

3. Binasuan
- - Is a Filipino folk dance in
which the performance hold
full wine glasses in which each
hand while performing
balanacing tricks.

4. Itik-itik
- A folk dance originating from Surigao Del Sur.
the dance is mimicing the movements of a
duck, specificaly how a duck splashes in the
water to attract its partner.

5. Surtido
-is performed by several pairs of
dancer, with the head pair called
cabeceras and the side pairs,
costados, guiding the other dancer
in varied quadrille formation. It
used to be dance of long duration
performance by a big group.

6. Manglalatik
- A mock war cry dance which is described as a
battle for coconuts. Males wear pairs of
coconut husks on themselves and dance with
slapping the husks to the rhythm.

7. Pandanggo sa ilaw
- This dance emerged from the Spanish dance
Fandango. This dance was performed using
three oil lamps: one from the head, and two
from the hands. Women usually perform this
dance but there are times when malles
perform the pandanggo.
