> Improve productivity of Aquaculture within ecological limit.
> Conserve, protect and sustain the management of the country’s fishery and aquatic resources.
> Alleviate poverty and provide supplementary livelihood among fisherfolks.

MANDATE
> Maintain good quality broodstock and produce fry, tinies and seaweed propagules for distribution.
> Improve and modify technology to increase hatchery production.
> Extend technical assistance and services.
> Conserve and develop coastal fishery resources.
> Coordinate and link with Local Government Units, Non-Government Organizations, private institu-
tions and other Government Agencies in the implementation of Fishery Programs.
