Topic: Teaching Vocabulary, which based on Education by utilizing task based

method

Lesson type: Practical Place of the study: Academic lyceum


Target group: 16-18 ages
Duration of the lesson: 80 minutes Teacher: Aminjonova Nazokat

Aims Practical: to improve students’ knowledge and skills on education


in learners aged 16-18 and emphasize to get acquainted with the
role of education in human life.
Educational: to get broaden learners’ horizon towards the topic of
education, specifically speaking and listening skills, to beaware of
on the particular topic.
Developmental: to develop pupils’ social skills such as
communicative, interactive, critical and social thinking
Upbringing: to develop pupils’ behavioral patterns, to stimulate
them to behavior well, to urge students to look up to themselves.

Assessment Formative assessment: Teacher will evaluate how students are


learning the topic, at what point they are struggling or progressing,
at what stage of learning they have challenges or failures or
success.
Summative assessment: Teacher will assess what students have
learnt about the topic, T will assess students’ current understanding
in relations to the teaching goals.
Method Task-based method
Techniques/ Choice-boarding activities, discussion, questioning-answering,
activities chain – drill

Procedure of the lesson ( 80 minutes)
Beginning A) Greeting and checking the attendances and homework: (5
(10 minutes) T greets student, checks attendance and hometask,
minutes) reviews the previous lesson.
B) Warm-up(5 minutes )
T attracts students’ attention to the lesson T asks ss some
questions on the topic of “ Parts of body”. Through asking such
questions T encourages learners to give brief concepts on that
theme and enables them to get in the learning.
Main-part- Pre-explaining part ( 10 min)
pre, while, T introduces students with some new words relating to education
post stages and each student is given text and does tasks.

I’d like to tell you about my time at university … I was a mature
student … I didn’t go to university until I was 25 … and it was my
first time away from my parents so it was very exciting … I was
doing a Bachelors Degree and it was a bit of a challenge … some
people take a year out but I’d been away from education for 8
years … plus I had to work my way through uni so I was very
busy … and sitting exams at the end of each year was a new
experience for me as well but I really enjoyed higher
education  learning about a subject I loved … history … and the
social life was great as well … I don’t think I’ve ever had so many
friends … I had my graduation ceremony last year in the local
cathedral and I know my parents were really proud … so yes …
that was a really happy time … I’m thinking of doing aMasters
Degree soon … though that might be through distance learning as
I have a full-time job now …
