Overview
Golden Key’s strategic objectives (2006-2011) are to grow the Golden Key community
by: maximizing value to student members, advisors, recent alumni and partners; building
internal capacity to deliver quality and value consistently; and to make a difference in
society through education-related service.
Concurrently, the Golden Key SJSU Chapter has decided to participate in the GK
Achiever Jumpstart Kit program to promote Golden Key’s objectives, and to add value to
its members and community. Also, the chapter needs to recruit a President and Treasurer
next semester in order to stay active and can do so through getting members more
involved with exciting chapter activities. We have this opportunity to do the above items,
as well as, fulfill Golden Key’s strategic objectives (2006-2011).

Potential sponsors are corporations and businesses.
Statement of Objectives
• To accomplish the GK strategic objects for (2006-2011).
• To enable the chapter to acquire a president and treasurer by next semester. The
executive board hopes to find a president and treasurer by involving student in the
project and promotional efforts.
• To increase member involvement by providing exciting, short-term volunteer
opportunities.
• To provide value to its student members and community.
• To acquire honorary members from the community and businesses. (This will
meet one of the chapter’s standards and make it easier for GK executive
committee members to solicit help, schedule speaker events, and solicit donations
future outreach efforts.)
• To promote GK SJSU chapter as valuable student organization through the
promotion of its student and community involvement activities.
