▪ Lead-Acid Replacement are batteries designed to operate as drop-in replacement for lead-acid
▪ BMS communication with inverter: SoC, Voltage, Temperature, Max Charge current, Max Discharge
Current… that may change (based on operating conditions)
▪ The communication is used to dynamically update charging/discharging settings. In this case the
battery safe operation is guaranteed by both, BMS & inverter.

Support
▪ INVERTER MODE the inverter injects power into the AC bus by making its output voltage slightly higher than the AC bus
voltage (V1>V2>V3). This power can come from the battery or from DC coupled charge controller.
Sell
▪ INVERTER MODE when enabled, if batteries are above Grid Support Volts and load demand is being met, energy is
exported to the Grid (V1<V2>V3).

ParallelPower – supplements AC Grid input helping to avoid peak utility charges (by Peak Load Shaving)
PowerCoupling – AC Coupling uses Active Frequency Shift to curtail the output of compatible PV inverters, maintaining the
balance between generation and consumption. Only possible when hybrid inverters work as grid forming (NO AC INPUT).
GridSell – allows to sell the excess of energy to the grid when allowed by utility (only XW+).

GenSupport AC PowerCoupling GridSell
Other functionalities, like loadshedding, are possible using Aux Port and other devices… just ask!

• Load Shave Stop: Sets the time of day that the load shave feature stops operating. If Load Shave is set to enabled and
Load Shave Start = Load Shave Stop are set to the same time, the system load shaves continuously.
• PLS DLY 2h: if enabled, PLS operation will be delayed by 2 hrs if the battery has not been in Float Stage for at least two
hours. This delay time is used to assure a more complete charge (from MPPT) prior to Load Shave.
• Only XW+

Access to the full range of settings, including everything in the Basic menu. They are organized in different
families / groups of settings:
▪ Inverter Settings these settings control when the inverter / charger turns on and off while inverting
▪ Charger Settings this menu provides options for configuring the inverter to operate the battery bank:
battery type and capacity, charge and discharge rates, configuration voltages…
▪ AC Settings this menu configures the voltage and frequency limits for AC input signal to be qualified or
not. AC port 1 (Grid) and AC port 2 (Gen) on Conext XW+ and AC In in case of Conext SW.
▪ Grid Support Settings (or AC Support Settings) this menu contains configuration options for grid-tie
operation. We can control how and when to use utility power, allowing the management of peak loads with
peak load shave and charge block functions…
Access to the full range of settings, including everything in the Basic menu. They are organized in different
families / groups of settings:
▪ Aux Settings this menu allows you to enable and set the Auxiliary Output Port. We can define the active
level, and trigger conditions or even activate/deactivate manually.
▪ Multi Unit Settings this menu configures the inverter / charger to operate as a part of a multi-unit
installation and to associate it with the different inputs/outputs (connections).
▪ Advanced Features this menu allows to enable / disable different advanced features like AC coupling or
