Summary:-

 Adarsh Ceramics Ltd. The company which manufacture the ceramic


product. Manish Sharma is the CEO and Mr. Kumar is a general manager of
this group.
 146 people working in 3 metros city’s : Mumbai, New Delhi & Bangalore.
 CEO and the general manager having knowledge about the ceramic product
and also having quality to manage the organization.
 Co-ordination between manager and its subordinates is for profit
maximization.
 Rajesh desai took Mr. Kumar position after his retirement. He believed in a
people-cantered approach.
 He thought that people treated with dignity and concern to help them
perform their jobs efficiently.
 He opposed the punishment system and favoured positive reinforcement for
motivating people.
 Rajesh desai was the deputy general manager of ceramic limited. So he had
used this approach affectivity.
 When Mr Kumar was the manager of Adarsh ceramic company. The people
who working with group follow the abolished rule completely.
 The previous rue of company format by the CEO and the previous manager
Mr. Kumar which is rejected by the new manager Mr. Desai and for the
better productivity of the company. He provides some rewards to the
employers for the better management rule. If a person is late to work for 2
consecutive days then his 1 day’s leave, or in case of no balance leave, 1
day’s pay be deducted.
 The new rule format by the Rajesh desai help to understand about the
workers after some time rule was rejected by the CEO of the company.
 Rajesh desai requested Manish to allow him to continue with this at least for
3 months.
 Now the question is arise on Rajesh mind how to solve this problem.
Strengths:-
• CEO of this company is a hard task master and easy to manage the staff.
• The co-ordination between the supervision and its subordinate makes
productivity and profit.
• General Manager of this company having a leadership skill and also the
knowledge of engineering field. This is easy to help in technical way and better
productivity.
• Delegation of authority.

Weakness:-

• Centralization and decentralization was not there


• Punishment system and favoured positive reinforcement are under the motivation
for people.
• Rules and regulation of this company concerned about the motivating people but
it is like a punishment system for the workers.

Opportunity:-

• Better productivity and technology up gradation.


• Faces new challenges with respect to the management point.

Threats:-

• Rule and regulation of this company will also effect the external environment.
• Change in rule and regulation time to time will affect the managerial function of
a particular company.
Suggestion:-

• Co-ordination should be healthy between top level management and lower


management. It helps in making working condition better.

• A policy of rules and regulation has been changes time to time.

• Manager should try to motivate the employer to work hard in the company.
