Abstract.
Them soils, their nature and the pattern of distribution in them Moors depends on
of the interaction of those factors trainers; climate, organisms, parent material,
relief and time; and although all exert its action in it genesis and the evolution of
them soils, even when them wetlands occupy only between 4-6% of it surface
terrestrial, they play a role important in the cycle of carbon (C) of the planet. The
uptake of carbon in wetlands is done, mostly through plants that fix the carbon
dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and make it organic carbon, wetlands are
found in most of the country and are important to agriculture, wildlife, migratory
birds, and recreation, fitness for use and management of soils of the Páramo is
limited by features such as the high susceptibility to deterioration , the low levels of
fertility, the acidity marked, the very high retention of moisture, in the scarce
development genetic and low soil temperature; to these is added conditions of
relief very broken, winds strong, icy, high cloudiness and little luminosity to
determine that the vocation of these soils not is agricultural its function together
with it of them others components of them ecosystems Andean, is it of regular the
resource water and protect the birth of them sources of water; The wetlands are
usually plain coastal of sediment fine and loose that retain water of sea in tide high,
or runoff land of water sweet. Historically these areas were considered for a long
