I. Objective:
Students are expected to identify the chemicals to be utilized in cleaning and
sanitizing kitchen tools and equipment.
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer
2. Greetings
3. Checking of the Attendance
4. Unlocking of Difficulties
a. Cleaning-the process of removing food and other types of soil
from a surface, and equipment such as a dish, glass, or cutting
board; a physical removal of visible soil and food.
b. Sanitizing-the process of reducing number of harmful organisms
to safe level on food contact services.
5. Motivation
Ask the students what are the things they find in their kitchen.
2. Analysis
-How did you find the activity?
-Have you seen these cleaning agents and sanitizers?
-Where did you find these cleaning agents and sanitizer?
-What do you think are the chemicals used in cleaning and
sanitizing kitchen tools
and equipment?
-Do you think these agents are for cleaning? And these are for
sanitizing?
3. Abstraction
-Let’s find out if your answers are correct?
-Discuss the chemicals used in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools
and equipment.
4. Application
-JINGLE MAKING
-The students will be divided into two(2)
-Each group will make a jingle out the cleaning agents and sanitizer
