Use 5 sentences or less to answer each of the following questions.

1. Give an example of a pattern that occurs in nature but does not involve numbers.
- An example of a pattern that occurs in nature but does not involve numbers is for me, a
wave. Because whenever a wave occurs, its because of the low winds that comes from the
monsoons. And waves don’t come by once or twice, they come by sequence. We notice that
when a wave is coming, another wave is at its back. And it keeps going till the strong winds
from the monsoons, stop.
2. Use the Golden Ratio to divide the line segment L with length of 12 units into to two line
segments L1 and L2 . Specify the lengths rounded off to two decimal places.
- The golden ratio is a mathematical ratio that is commonly found in nature.

The equation of the golden ratio is = = 1.618.

The only given is the 12 units so it is L1 it will be divided to the golden ratio to find the line
segment. When you have found the answer in L1 it will be divided to the golden ratio to find the
answer in L2.

using phi. Do the same with your facial measurements.
