3. What article/s or section/s of the instrument articulate the centrality of human rights vis-
à-vis science, technology, and development?
- It is the 9 statements being proclaimed by the general assembly that gave the centrality of
human rights in accordance with science, technology, and development. That for every
statement, mankind has the opportunity to know every change in science, technology, and
developments whether it is positive or negative. And whether it will benefit or harm
them.
4. How does instrument safeguard human rights in the face of science and technology?
- The statements primarily focused on human rights-based approach that Mukherjee
implies to the society. Each statement valued the importance of humans when it comes to
knowing, understanding, and arguing the things in science and technology that may affect
them positively or negatively.
5. What challenges stand in the way of the instrument and its key principles in safeguarding
human rights amidst the changing scientific and technological contexts?
- The challenges that may stand in the way of this human rights-based approached of this
instrument is that whether the people in our society be cooperative and interested in
knowing such things that involves science and technology. Because we all know that this
fields are so broad, that people tend not to give attention to. That they just rely on people
that manipulates them in terms of their lack of knowledge in science and technology. And
that also, the other challenge is their willingness to be educated by scientists about
science and technology. Are they willing to sacrifice leisure for safety in the near future.
