OPERATION AND USE

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before using your coffemaker for the first time, wash decanter/lid and removable filter
basket using a mild, non-abrasive detergent and water. Rinse each thoroughly. Follow steps
3-5 (Brewing Coffee ) using water, to clean the inside.

BREWING COFFEE

1 Lift the lid for filter basket and water reservoir access.. Insert 4-cup paper or
permanent filter into the removable filter basket.
2 Add desired amount of coffee, referring to the Coffee Measurement Chart. (See
Page 7) Shake lightly to level coffee . Be sure the filter is centered.
3 Fill the decanter with cold water to desired capacity as marked on the side of the
decanter (1 cup = 5 oz). To brew 4 cups of coffe, fill the decanter to the 4-cup line.
4 Pour the water into the water reservoir. Note : for easy and accurate filling, refer to
cup markings on the water windows. Place the empty decanter onto the warming
plate.

5. Plug the cord into the electrcial outlet and turn your coffeemaker switch to the “ON”
position. When the coffee stops flowing, the brewing cycle is complete. Note: The
warming plate will keep your coffee piping hot untill you turn your coffeemaker off.
6. After contents have cooled, carefully remove the filter basket and discard the used
grounds and paper filter or rinse clean the permanent filter if you use it. Rinse the
removable filter basket and replace.
7. To make another pot of coffee , repeat steps 1-6.
8. Be sure to turn your coffeemaker off when the decanter is empty and you are no
longer using it. Please unplug the power cord when not in use.

Long long time ago, there was a farmer couple living happily in a village near a
forest. Unfortunately, they hadn’t had any children yet.

From a giant the got a daughter named Timun Mas or Golden Cucumber.

Her parents were very proud of her. But their happines turned to fear when her 17 th
birthday came. The giant returned to ask for their promise. He was going to take Timun
Mas away.

Not wanting the giant to eat Timun Mas, they ordered her to leave. Before she left, the
farmer gave her a little bag.

The giant was chasing Timun Mas and he was getting closer and closer. Timun Mas
then took a handful of salt from her little bag. Suddenly a wide sea appeared between
them. The giant had to swim to reach her.

The giant kept chasing her and Timun Mas threw some chilly which grew into some
trees from which thorns as sharp as knife grew and trapped the giant.

At the mean time, Timun Mas could escape again.

But the giant was very strong. Again he almost caught Timun Mas. So Timun Mas
took the third magic stuff, the cucumber seeds. She threw the seeds which suddenly
became a wide cucumber field. The giant was very tired and hungry so he ate those fresh
cucumbers. Eating too much made him feel sleepy and fell asleep soon.

Timun Mas kept on running as fast as she could. But, the giant had woken up! Timun
Mas was so scared. Desperately she then threw her last weapon, terasi (a kind of shrimp
pasta). It did a miracle again. The pasta became a big swamp. The giant fell into it. At
last he was drown.
She was safe and then returned to her parents’ house. Her parents were of course very
happy to see their daughter safe and sound. From then on, Timun Mas lived happily with
her parents with no fear anymore.

FISH
