Transfer of Budget –

Definition:
It may happen that one funds center is running short
of funds while another still has plenty. Transfers are a
tool in Funds Management, which you can use to
place the available budget in one center at the disposal
of another.
A transfer corresponds to the distribution of original
budget, with the difference that you must specify a
sender and a receiver, in addition to the sender FM
account assignment and the receiver FM account
assignment. You can apportion the amount from the
sender to more than one receiver.

commitment items in the same fiscal year
• Transfers between fiscal years in the same funds
center and commitment item
• Transfers between different funds centers and
commitment items in different fiscal years
• Transfers between different funds, also across
fiscal years

Prerequisites:
Original Budget must have been entered in the system

Menu Path:
Accounting -> Public Sector Management -> Funds
Management ->Fund Management -> Budgeting->
Original Budget -> Change in Hierarchy ->
Note : Entry and change is done with the same
transaction
Procedure:

Double Clik on FR04
