THE APOSTLES’ CREED
I BELIEVE in God, the Father almighty, Creator of
heaven and earth, and in JESUS CHRIST, his only Son,
our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he
descended into hell; on the third day he rose again
from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated
at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from
there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I
believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
O Hope of Israel, our Savior in times of trouble, look
down from heaven and visit this vineyard, fill its
streams, multiply its fruits, and perfect what your
right hand has planted. The harvest is indeed great
but the laborers are scarce. We ask you, O Lord of
the harvest, to send laborers into your harvest.
Multiply your family and increase its joys so that the
walls of Jerusalem may be built up. This is your
house, O Lord, this is your house. Let there not be in
it, we beseech you, a stone which you yourself have
not placed. Preserve in your name those you have
already called, and sanctify them in truth. Amen.
