    •Vinyl / cassette no real money
    makers. But depends on genre.
    •Streaming: money via label and
    authoring rights. Label deal is
    important.
    •Or independently: via Distrokid,
    CDBaby etc
    •Physical release more a
    promotion tool, so: merchandise.

    Synch deals / sponsoring
    • Synch deals: music for
    commercials, tv shows, film,
    games. Make sure you get
    composers share.
    • Sponsor deals: logical
    connection with sponsor,
    same target audience, not
    only logo sponsors but work
    together.
