3.1.4 Installation Scenarios

This topic concerns installation scenarios.

Installation Installation Requirement Installation Diagram

Scenario Mode

Wall Drilling holes  The wall can bear a load at least

mounting four times the weight of a BTS3911B.
 If screws are tightened with a
torque of 1.5 N·m, the screws work
properly and the wall keeps intact.

Using a plate  The wall can bear a load at least

four times the weight of a BTS3911B.
 The wall is 45 mm thick at most.

NOTE:
 When the wall is not able to bear four times the weight of the BTS3911B (this includes
weak walls, such as EPS or MDF walls, and walls that cannot be drilled), add an attachment
plate. Follow the above installation instructions to secure the BTS3911B onto the attachment
plate. Attachment plates are prepared by customers.
 The BTS3911B weights 2 kg or less.

Ceiling Drilling holes  The ceiling can bear a load at least

mounting four times the weight of a BTS3911B.
Concrete ceilings are typically able to
bear the required load.
 If screws are tightened with a
torque of 1.5 N·m, the screws work
properly and the ceiling keeps intact.

Using a keel  The keel can bear a load at least

four times the weight of a BTS3911B.
 The BTS3911B can be installed
on a U-shaped, T-shaped, or H-shaped
keel. The suitability of keels of other 1. Plate
shapes is determined based on site 2. U-shaped keel
requirements.

Using steel  The steel hangers can bear a load

hangers at least four times the weight of a
BTS3911B.
 M6 and M8 steel hangers are
allowed.
 Steel hangers are prepared by
customers.

Pole mounting The pole diameter ranges from 60 mm to

114 mm or from 114 mm to 381 mm.
