INTRODUCTION TO RESEARCH TOPICS

1.1 INTRODUCTION

Education means overall development. Education is progressive


change in the man. The development changes in human beings are
education. It means learning brings good changes in man. It is
development of all round personality of men. A Person develops in all
areas of mental, intellectual, social field. Different capabilities are
created in person. Education increases the knowledge of good and bad
things in life. That is why education is not only useful for examination
but also enriching person’s personality. The education gives man
greatness in this world. Education gives man a right way to live life.

Education is an importance component of human development


Person’s personality develops unawarably. Education play important
role in development of nation.

No person can live a perfect and self – respective life without


education there is need for education to enhance the personal and social
life of a person.

1.2 NEED OF RESEARCH

What is education research-in less comprehensive terms,


education research is an organized approach to asking, answering, and
effectively reporting a question.

As a student, teacher, or administrator, consider how many times


you have heard, “evidence-based practice” are according to the
research-based, but what does that really mean? This overview is a
summary of important concepts and considerations related to research
in education.

Conducting small-scale research in school can have profound


impact in a number of ways. What better way to give colleagues
confidence in a particular teaching method than by having proven
results from a pilot study in your own context? This also gives approach
a trial run and enables to be made before rolling out a larger scale
initiative.

PLACE OF SCIENCE IN SYLLABUS

Unit the 18th century, the scientific research carried out on the
individual level. After the establishment of royal institution of Great
Britain in 1799, the research of science started in real sense. In 1837,
the science teaching began in England and began to teach such subject
as substance science, chemical, animal, nature studies. The first high
school was founded in Boston in 1852. This high school started teaching
science subject.

In England in 1893. A committee of 10 people appointed by the


government, there is debate about whether science should be added in
the syllabus or not. From 1914 to 1918, the First World War broke out
and the science movement was encouraged, in England in the year
1920.

SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEMS


The clear statement of the problem in the exact words is the
research statement.

The present research is limited to 8th standard student of Sanjuba


High School, Nagpur.

The title or statement of the present research issue is as follows.

This is an experiment study of the use of laboratory for class 8 th


standard student to reduce the stigma of science subjects.
REVIEW OF PREVIOUS RESEARCH

There are no researches done on relevant research topic yet. But


some research dome by some researchers following the examination in
schools is noteworthy.
The purpose of a literature review is to place each work in the
context of its contribution to understanding the research problem being
studied. Describe the relationship of each work to the other under
consideration. Identify new ways to interpret prior research. Reveal any
gaps that exist in the literature. Resolve conflicts amongst seemingly
contradictory previous studies. Identify areas of prior scholarship to
prevent duplication of effort. Locate your own research within the
context of existing literature.
Conducting a good literature review is a matter of experience, and
even the best scientists have fallen into the trap of using poor evidence.
This is not a problem, and is part of the scientific process, if a research
program is well constructed, it will not affect the results. Many students
are instructed, as part of their research program, to perform a literature
review, without always understanding what a literature review is. The
next stage is to critically evaluate the paper and decide if the research is
sufficient quality.
Relevant Literature –
The selection of a research problem can be derived from a
thorough review of a pertinent research associated with your overall
area of interest. This may reveal where gaps exist in understanding a
topic or where an issue has been understudied. Research may be
conducted to fill such gaps in knowledge, evaluate if the methodologies
employed in prior studies can be adapted to solve other problems or
determine if a similar study could be conducted in a different subject
area or applied in a different context or to different study sample
different setting or different group of people.

School, Nagpur in the field of science, to handle the equipments and
dealing with them-.

EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN

The main aim of the research is to acquire new knowledge,


present a new approach to existing facts, analyze events by presenting
them in a new way, improving old measurement or creating more
efficient new tools and Research is an important tool for exploring and
solving problems in order to broaden the knowledge are . the method of
using the scientific method to gain knowledge is called a research .
The main aim of researchers is to achievable the knowledge ,
introducing a new approach to existing facts, analyze the events and
present their efficient new devices Increasing your overall knowledge of
the world is the key to creating progress in the world .

RESEARCH DESIGN

Before implementing experimental research methods, a


systematic plan has to be made. By considering the details of the
selection of the group it is called the experimental design of an
experimental.

There are different types of experimental design. The nature of


the design is the problem of compiled information, the eligible of the
available comfort modes, etc.

Generally there are two types of experimental design –

1. Function Design

2. Elemental design
SINGLE GROUP DESIGN

Single group design is very useful for academic research. In this


types of claims. The same group is selected for experimentation. The use
of this same group is done before and after the experiment. One group
has undergone two different processes.

STATISTICAL PROCESSES

The researcher has selected std. 6th class for the research and then
single group was selected. Then pre examination was given a later test .
Statistical procedures were used while considering the merits of the pre
and later examination in this examination test and on the basis of marks
of both examination the median and standard deviation was examined.

The following formulas have been used in such a statisticl process.

INFORMATION ANALYSIS AND EXPLANATION

Introduction-

The present research is an experimental study which is done by researcher by


using the laboratory to overcome the monotony of science subject in 6 th
standard student.

Objectives-

The is a research to check the interest of students in science subject

Hypothesis-

It students are allowed to solve the questionnaire related to interest of


science, and then we can easily check the interest students in science.

 Pre-test-
SUMMERY, CONCLUSION AND NOTICE

“Use of laboratory to overcome the monotony towards science


subject of 8th std. student is an experimental study”.
In the present research in class 8th, students were taught by
solving teaching related problem and removing the neutrality of science
subject. What is the need of this research tools in education is get
cleared. The objectives, importance, assumption, hypothesis of research

in science students of Sanjuba High School, Nagpur University.

HYPOTHESIS

The present research hypothesis as follows,


1. It we teach our students the rules, theories of science by experiment,
they will understand quickly.
2. We can use the laboratory to reduce the monotony of student
towards science subject.

CONCLUSIONS

1. From the previous observation the median of students to reduce


lack of interest in science is 11.52.
2. From the previous examination, it is seen that among the total
students, median of girls 16.6 and median of boys is 11.52.
3. The difference between and boys median is 5.08.
4. After the therapeutic activities of removing the neutrality of the
subject and after the teaching, there was a difference in previous
and later observation.
