7:45 – 8:00 Breakfast

● Children will have breakfast until 8:00 am. Children then take care of their trays and
line up. Children then walk back to the classroom with the teacher.

8:00 – 8:20 Morning Routine

● Put items in lockers, take care of purple folder, and make lunch choice
● Morning work
● Morning greeting
● Wiggle Break
● Pledge and Calendar

8:20 – 9:10 ELA

● Word Wall of the Day - Sound, break it apart, syllables, rhyming, beginning sound, ending
sound, what’s the word, and how many words in the sentence
● Daily Skill Practice Routine
● ELA Lesson Focus - ELA Activity

9:05 – 9:35 Snack and Recess (Big Playground)

9:50 – 10:35 ELA Stations

● Sight Word Practice (Whole Group)
● Rainbow ELA Stations (Small Groups) - Groups are decided based on individual needs.
The teacher meets children individually on folders every Monday and then works with
small groups the rest of the week.

10:35 – 11:00 Writing/Science/Social Studies

11:00 – 11:30 Lunch

● On the playground or free choice in the classroom due to weather

11:50 – 12:20 Reading Strategy Lesson

12:25 – 1:15 Music PE Computers Library Music

1:20 – 2:00 Math

● Math Talk and Snack
● Math Lesson - Math Activity or Math Stations

2:00 – 2:10 Pack Up

● Children go to their lockers and bring all their items into the classroom to their seats.
Children go to their mailboxes and stuff their folders and place them in their backpacks.

2:10 - 2:30 Classroom Free Stations - Conference with Students

2:30 - 2:40 Get Dressed for Outside

● Children will get cleaned up and get dressed to go outside. They will then line up in their
line spots and walk out with the assistant.

2:40 - 2:55 Recess

● Outside on the Playground

3:00 – 3:05 Prep for Dismissal

● Children will make sure they are packed up, help with cleaning up the classroom and
tables, and sit in their seats to be called to line up for the buses.

3:05 – 3:10 Students are Dismissed

● Bus children line up and walk out with the assistant. Children who are picked up wait in
the classroom for their families.
