Plans for, instructs, and assesses 11th grade AP Seminar students in
conducting academic research, composing informative and argumentative
research papers, and presenting research to peers and professionals
Plans for, instructs, and assesses English I students in transitioning to high
school and developing strong analysis skills in reading, writing, and
discussion; integrates opportunities for artistic connections and expression
in the English I curriculum with an emphasis on individual choice
Conducts application and interview process for the AP Capstone program

literary theory, nonfiction imaginative writing, and the understanding and
development of various literary crafts including playwriting, poetry, prose
fiction, memoir, and screenplay
Collaborated with Southern Word and other NSA conservatories to create
events in which students engage in literary workshops and share their
creative works to a larger audience
Supported student editors for yearbook, NSA News Website, and NSA News
