Like Stars On Earth – Every Child Is Special

(Summary)
Plot Of The Story:
Ishaan from India lived with his father, mother and brother. He is always being
scolded by his father because of him being a lazy and naughty. They never taught that there
might be a problem with their son.
One day, Ishaan skip out of class and went roaming around the city. He asked for his
brother to write him a letter of excuse and the next day he showed it to his teacher. His father
found out about it and he got mad. They went to the office of the principal and their teacher
told them that Ishaan is performing poor in his academics. The principal told that they will
not accept Ishaan on their school because he repeated his grade for about three times already.
He told his parents that there are many special schools there that may help Ishaan.
Ishaan’s father decided to send him to a boarding school despite of his mother and
brother’s disapproval. He felt the feeling of being left alone with not one to talk to because he
is still being laughed at by his classmates and being punishment by her teacher.
One day, a new teacher came. Mr. Ram Likumbh brought joy and enthusiasm to
students. He is their new art class. Mr. Likumbh told his students to paint anything they want.
He noticed that Ishaan didn’t do anything in her class. He heared from the faculty that Ishaan
is very poor in their class too. So he conclude that there might be a reason behind his poor
performance. He started to Lean the notebooks of Ishaan from other classes and he think that
Ishaan might have a disorder called deplexia. He went to Ishaan’s house to know how Ishaan
is doing when he was with them. he found out that Ishaan is so good in arts because of his
paintings and drawings on the wall and some creature outputs. He told Ishaans parents that
Ishaan may have a disorder called deplexia. He promised that he will help Ishaan cure in with
his disorder.
Mr. Likumbh patiently help Ishaan. As the time goes Ishaan started to excel in class,
not just in arts but in academic also.
One day, an art competition was held in their school. All the students and teachers
join the said context. At the end of the program, Ishaan won his art price. He was so thankful
to Mr. Likumbh for helping him cure up from his disorder.

Reaction Paper (Like Stars on Earth)

The individuals are different with each other. Some people today want to perceive the
word perfect. If you are fat, you are being laughed at. If you prefer to have same sex
relationship, you are being criticized. Some people don’t understand that we are all not the
same. We have different endowment or different field.
The movie raised awareness to the issue of deplexia. A child like Ishaan is special in
his own way. People like him needs love, care, support and understanding.
As a future teacher, encountering a child liked Ishaan is not a reason for me to be the
leader of bullying in class. Do not dismiss a child because he cannot perform same level on
everyone else.
Look for the underlying cause and work for it. Dismissal of a child could cause him to
become much worse and may cause of being dropped awed. He must apply dedication to our
profession and a hard work. He must learn different method for some child betterment. Help
the leader improve, put your whole heart to take care of them, give them the attention they
needed, and let them find themselves.
Encouragement should be a given where the child excel, though it may be art or other.
