Wedding Reception: Singles’ Games

Here are some games you might want to try during the wedding reception. For the single ladies:
bouquet pass, gulay game, bouquet toss twist and special stem. For the bachelors: dating game
(highly recommended), the bride’s choice: single guy’s game, shot and shoot, candy game and
find your shoe.

When the bachelor and bachelorette are chosen, there are optional games they can do with the
couple: the sexy dance with garter game, garter game only and mirror kissing game.

There are times when most of the guests are married so there are games for them as well: find
the pin and candy game.

SINGLES GAMES

Here are the games for the all the single ladies.

GAMES FOR SINGLE LADIES:

BOUQUET PASS

The bouquet will be passed among the ladies simultaneously with music. The person who has
the bouquet when the music stops is OUT of the game. We’ll do this until one will remain.

BOUQUET TOSS

The bouquet will be tossed by the bride. At the start, the single ladies will be instructed that the
one to catch the bouquet may take her seat, but, the third lady to catch the bouquet will actually
be the chosen one and the host will make a sudden announcement that the mechanics have
changed, surprise!!! We do this to save time, especially when there are so many single ladies
participating.

GULAY GAME
(the bachelor has to be chosen first before this game)

MR BACHELOR PLEASE TAKE A SEAT IN FRONT AND ALL THE SINGLE LADIES, FORM A
CIRCLE AROUND HIM.

WE WILL PUT A PIECE OF FRUIT OR VEGETABLE IN BETWEEN THE BACHELOR’S

THIGHS.

DANCE AROUND OUR BACHELOR AND WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS, THE FIRST ONE TO
GRAB THE GULAY GETS TO GO BACK TO HER SEAT.

BOUQUET TOSS TWIST

ALL THE SINGLE LADIES GATHER AROUND. THE BRIDE WILL TOSS THE BOUQUET AND
WHEN YOU CATCH THE BOUQUET, YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO TAKE YOUR SEAT.

(but after the third toss comes the twist)

THE COORDINATORS JUST CHANGED THE RULES. HERE’S THE SURPRISE TWIST. IT
SEEMS THAT THE THIRD LADY TO CATCH THE BOUQUET BECOMES THE WINNER.
CONGRATULATIONS!

SPECIAL STEM
A bouquet of flowers will be presented to the single ladies. Each will get a flower from the
bouquet. The lady with the special stem wins. It depends on the coordinator — the special stem
could be the longest stem, the shortest stem, a stem where the bottom part is colored using
pentel pen.

Now for the bachelors….

GAMES FOR BACHELORS:

DATING GAME (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

(Requirement: Bachelorette game has to finished before this one)

Each bachelor will be given two small pieces of paper and pens.
They will right down their favorite number, name of pet, and favorite color on the first piece of
paper, and write the same on the second piece of paper. So everything written on the first paper
must be identical to what’s written on the second piece of paper.

The coordinator will go around and collect the second pieces of paper into a box, while the
bachelors hold on to the first pieces of paper. The coordinator will give the box to the groom.

The bachelors will exchange papers to the person beside them (so at this point wala ng may
hawak ng original paper na sinulatan nila)
The groom will pick 3 pieces of paper from the box, read what’s written, and the 3 bachelors
holding the paper with the description read by the groom will be the 3 bachelors for the dating
game.

BACHELORS, YOU WILL ALL BE GIVEN TWO PIECES OF PAPER EACH AND PENS.
WRITE YOUR FAVORITE NUMBER, ANY NAME OF A PET, AND FAVORITE COLOR ON
BOTH PIECES OF PAPER — WHAT YOU WROTE ONE PAPER 1 SHOULD BE IDENTICAL
TO PAPER 2. READY… START… AGAIN, YOU FAVORITE NUMBER, NAME OF PET, AND
FAVORITE COLOR.

NOW THAT YOU’RE DONE, GIVE PAPER 1 TO THE COORDINATOR WHO WILL TURN
THEM OVER TO OUR GROOM.

FOR THE PAPER 2, GIVE IT TO THE PERSON TO YOUR RIGHT… AND THE LAST
PERSON TO THE EXTREME RIGHT, GIVE YOUR PAPER 2 TO THE PERSON ON THE
EXTREM LEFT.

AT THIS POINT, MAY WE REQUEST THE COORDINATOR TO BLINDFOLD OUR

BACHELORETTE AND LET HER TAKE A SEAT IN FRONT IN PREPARATION FOR OUR
DATING GAME.

GROOM, PLEASE PICK THREE PIECES OF PAPER FROM THE BOX HANDED TO YOU BY
THE COORDINATOR… AND BACHELORS, READ THE PAPER THAT YOU’RE HOLDING…
WHEN THE GROOM READS OUT WHAT’S WRITTEN ON THE PIECE OF PAPER YOU’RE
HOLDING, TAKE TWO STEPS FORWARD.

(after the three bachelors have been chosen)

(bride asks questions… questions should be equal to the number of bachelors joining the game)

DANCE GAME

Bachelors on the dance floor will listen to the song played and dance. The first one to dance the
correct choreography of the song will be allowed to take his seat. Songs: Baby Shark,
Macarena, YMCA, Gangnam Style, Twerk it Like Miley, Watch Me Whip Watch Me Nae Nae.
When third bachelor to get the choreography is called, the mechanics will change and surprise,
he becomes the chosen bachelor. We do this to save time, especially when there are so many
single men participating.
SHOT AND SHOOT

Bachelors have take a shot of vodka, make a full 360-degree turn, and put the thread through a
needle. Once done, he should raise his hand. The last one remaining will be chosen as the
bachelor for the night.

CANDY GAME

Each bachelor will be given a piece of candy or anything of that size. They will have to insert it
from the bottom of their pants and move it up until it goes out of the collar of their polos. The will
have to unwrap it, put it in their mouths, run towards the mic and say congratulations. The last
one becomes the bachelor of the night.

FIND YOUR SHOE

Bachelors will give the coordinators one shoe and turn around. The coordinators will hide the
shoes in different parts of the room. The audience can coach the bachelors. Once the shoe is
found, the bachelor goes back in front. The last bachelor to fin his shoe, is the winner.

After the single lady and gentleman are identified, there are games they can do with the couple
but are optional.

BACHELOR AND BACHELORETTE’S GAME WITH THE COUPLE

OPTIONAL: THE SEXY DANCE GARTER GAME

The host will instruct the groom to walk a few meters away from the bride. Sexy song will be
played and he does a sexy dance while walking towards the bride. Once he reaches the bride,
he goes under her and take the garter off her leg using his teeth.
After that, the groom hands the garter to the bachelor. The bachelor will copy the sexy dance
the groom did. Once he reaches the bachelorette, he will put the garter on her leg up to the
knee.

OPTIONAL: GARTER GAME ONLY

Groom goes under the bride and take the garter off of her leg using his teeth. The bachelor gets
the garter and puts it on the bachelorette’s leg.

OPTIONAL: MIRROR KISSING GAME

Groom will kiss the bride 3 times on different parts, and the bachelor will repeat what the groom
did to the bachelorette.

Now the couples at the reception can also have fun.

COUPLES’ GAMES

FIND THE PIN

Wives are blindfolded. The coordinators will attach three safety pins in three different parts of
the husbands. The wives will body search the husbands until they get the three safety pins. The
first couple to finish will win a prize.

CANDY GAME
Wives will be given a piece of candy. She will put it inside the bottom part of the husbands’
pants and push it up until she gets it out from the collar of the husbands’ shirts. The first wife to
get the candy out grabs the mic and says congratulations and win a prize.
