In favour of the hospital

Keshav was a college student in the town of goon. He joined a pressure group called vidya dal

The group organized a social function which include public march of 15km for the group. Kesav also
participate in the march and started feeling dehydrated and nauseous and he dropped unconscious in
the middle of the march.

After half an hour he reached the shushrusta hospital. And the member were given a consent form to be
filled up which specifically wrote that the hospital won’t be responsible for any mishappening which
might occur. The doctor gave 2bottles of Glucose solution drip, in order to provide the body with the
necessary minerals his body start acting adversely and he died

The death of kesav leads to widespread uproar amongst the member of the vidya dal. They start
protesting against the hospital and they went on T.V news channels and ave their views against the
hospital criticizing them for being unprofessional, and also published an insulting article regarding the
hospital in their monthly magazine.

The shushrusta hospital immediately filed a case at the court of the district judge aginst the vidya dal.
Claiming that they have been continuosly defaming the hospital and demanded rupees 50lacks in
compensation.

The district judge held that since vidaya’s dal members have filled the consent form and no notice was
provided to the hospital regarding kesav’s condition of diabetes. So inroway the hospital could be held
liabe for causing death of kesav and grented Rs35 lacks compensation.

In favour of vidya dal

was the active member of the group. The primary moto of the group was service to society.

Once the group organized a social function which include public march and after 6-7km of march keshav
started feeling dehydrate and nauseous and he droped unconscious in the middle of the march. People
rushed to help keshav and gave him the basic first aid, and then he was admitted in the shushrusta
hospital. The doctor gave 2bottles of Glucose solution drip, in order to provide the body with the
necessary minerals but his blood pressure suddenly dropped way beyond normal and so did his heart
rate and in couple of minutes kesav’s heart rate went NIL and docter declared him dead. When his body
was sent for post-moterm and it was revealed that Keshav was TYPE-2 Diabetes and since body was
abundantly supplied with glucose, his body reacted abnormally.
