The purpose of this lesson is to teach college animal science students about the nutrients animals need Overview to live and be healthy and about the different digestive systems animals have. After learning the needs for nutrition students will be able to identify them with 100% accuracy. After learning the purpose of nutrients, water, protein, amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, and vitamins in an animal’s diet they will be able to identify it with 90% Objectives accuracy.1 After learning the different types of vitamins needed by animals the students will be able to identify them with 90% accuracy. After learning the different kinds of digestive systems students will be able to identify them with 100% accuracy. The students will need paper and pencil to take Materials notes over the subject matter.
1. Ask the students what they already know
about animal nutrition. 2. Tell the students they will be learning about the needs for animal nutrition, the different Procedure nutrients animals need, and the different digestive systems animals have. 3. Show the students a visual made with ManyEyes with all this information on it and have them take notes over it
