12. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

INTRODUCTION
This EI replaces the existing DFDAU with the Teledyne

2233000-815-1 unit, reroutes existing wiring to be
compatible with the new unit's changed connector layout, and
adds wiring and parameters to match those in later 737-400
aircraft. Some additional parameters are also added to be
compliant with regulatory changes expected in the near
future.
The new DFDAU includes a Quick Access Recorder built in.
Note: This EI provides installation instructions. Associated

EI 734-31-33 provides activation testing instructions and is
to be completed following this EI.

Fit new DFDAU (Teledyne Part Number 2227000-815-1).
Refit all LRUs from E1, E2, and E3 racks.
Carry out functional / systems test on all disturbed
systems, to include at least:
