‫واﻟﺼﻼة واﻟﺴﻼم ﻋﻠﻰ رﺳﻮل ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ‬،‫ واﻟﻌﺎﻗﺒﺔ ﻟﻠﻤﺘﻘﯿﻦ‬،‫اﻟﺤﻤﺪ ﷲ رب اﻟﻌﺎﻟﻤﯿﻦ‬

‫أﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ وﺳﻠﻢ وآﻟﻪ وأﺻﺤﺎﺑﻪ أﺟﻤﻌﯿﻦ‬

​‫ ﺣﺴﻦ ﺑﺼﺮى‬who was a ‫ ﺗﺎﺑﻊ‬of nabi ‫ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ وﺳﻠﻢ‬said the foundation of
evil are 3 and secondary brunches are 6
The foundation of evil are:
1. Envy
2. Greed
3. Love worldly life

Envy ​: is the feeling of taking away a blessing or anything from a

person and wanting it from a person regardless of whether the person
has or not just as long as you have it. Envy is an evil disease of the
heart that leads to bad behaviour. It can even lead to thinking evil of
others, backbiting, lying.It may also lead to inflict physical harm on
the person whom he envies and can lead to murder.Envy comes from
lack of being thankful.It is a greastest traps of shytaan by which he
ruins the people. The person who loves envy is loved by troubles.It
weakens the body.The person who envies is a bad companion.
Nabi ‫ ﺻﻠﻰ أﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ وﺳﻠﻢ‬said “

 
“There is no envy except in 2 cases:a man whom allah gives wealth and he disposes of 
it rightfully, and a man whom allah gives knowledge which he applies and teaches it​”  
 
Envy in this hadith mean ‫ ﻏﺒﻄﻪ‬what it mean is that you wish to 
enjoy things which other have such as wealth or knowledge 
without wishing that they should be deprived of them. And this 
type of envy is allowed. 
 
Greed: ​intensive desire for something. Keeping on wanting 
more and more. It is also an evil foundation of evil. Greed is a 
natural characteristic of human being that's why it's found in 
every human being. Greed, if one stays away from it, everyone's 
problem will be saved but if one does not stay away from it, it 
will cause a lot of problems for us such are: 
. it prevents mankind from reaching their main goal which is 
obeying Allah,. 
.greedy causes humans to suffer forever. 
.A greedy person is never satisfied even when they own all the 
world's wealth. 
.it causes man to commit different types of sin like 
lying,betraying,oppression, and stealing since he can't obtain 
what he wants without them. 
.Greed causes man to forget Allah, others don't respect him 
because of his greed, and he will suffer. 
.A greedy person thinks by collecting money will grantee his 
future but he will suffer from poverty since the money he 
collected has no blessing. 
There are so many ways from staying away from greed some 
are: 
-thinking about the effect and result about gree: when a 
man reflects of greed by reasoning and Wisdom only 
follows good deed. 
-helping the poor: giving money to the poor causes the 
poor to have a better life.  
-Giving zakat every year. 
  
Love of worldly life: ​ we love the world so much that when 
someone talks about health we are like stop talking about it but 
when we talk about the world we are so much interested. 
Love of the world is also an foundation of evil. when someone 
loves the world they forget about the hereafter, the fear of 
Allah,they want to water they want which soon or later they fall 
into sins and disobedience of Allah. Love of the world is also 
plot of ‫ ﺷﯿﻄﺎن‬by which he misguided the mankind. In ‫ ﺣﺪﯾﺚ‬it say 
"​the world is not even worth of a wing of a mosquito's wing, if it was Allah would not 
have feed water to the ‫ﻛﻔﺎر‬. 
  
Whatever is in this world is not worth a mosquito's wing. Every 
thing in this world is very little in the hereafter. 
In a other ‫ ﺣﺪﯾﺚ‬nabi ‫ ﺻﻠﻰ أﷲ أﻛﺒﺮ‬said ​"‫" اﻟﺪﻧﯿﺎ ﺳﺠﻦ ﻟﻠﻤﺴﻠﻢ واﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﻟﻠﻜﻔﺎر‬ 
The world is a prison for Muslims and paradise for the non muslims. 
 
This world is a prison for us because we have hereafter which is 
thousands better than this world.what is in this world all 
amusement, deception which Will only last for how much maybe 
a few moments maybe one day.And once we did we won't need 
what we had in the world just only our deeds and if your deeds are 
my Allah make our deed good amee you will enter jannah and if 
not then May Allah save us, will enter enter he'll. This world is 
paradise for non Muslims because they don't have hereafter, their 
jannah is this world and its not like every single day they are 
happy.  

Now the secondary brunches of evil are:

Love of leadership: ​now days everyone think just by them being the
leaders they can boss around as they like. People needs to know that
being a leader does not mean having the title of a leader. What it actually
means to hold lots of responsibilities and to be fair accordingly. In islaam a
leadermeans to be just to community according actually not only
community it includes every single person doesn't matter of their race,
religion,whether rich or poor going against yourself.‫ﻋﻤﺮ ﺑﻦ اﻟﺨﻄﺎب رﺿﻲ اﻟﻠﺔ ﻋﻨﻪ‬
who was such a perfect just person that in his time there was not even a
single person to whom zakat can be being,said I fear on the day of ‫ ﻗﯿﺎﻣﻪ‬that
a sheep will say to Allah o Allah! ‫ ﻋﻤﺮ‬did not give grass to eat. One can fall
into evil by being a leader by being ignorant, being very strict which certain
people he shouldn't be,always bragging. This one of the first secondary
brunches of evil. Next comes

Love of boastful: ​one falls into evil when someone is boastful he rejects
advice of elders, even if it is something good for him.
It's that sin that will certainly punished severely. In ‫ ﺣﺪﯾﺚ‬it come ​a person will 
not enter jannah even if he has pride size of mustard sin. ​Just imagine how 
small is size of mustard seed a person having that much pride, one 
will not enter jannah. 
In the Quran Allah: ​Is there not in Hell an abode for the proud​. There are 
type of pride: 
.Arrogance against Allah. 
.Arrogance against the holy prophets and the Imams. 
.Arrogance towards people. 
As for Arrogance against Allah they refuses Allah because of his 
strength and property In the Quran Allah say " ​ ...There is naught in 
their hearts but ( desire) to become great which they shall never attain to.. 
These are people who will not active greatness either in this world 
nor hereafter.  
As for Arrogance against imams and prophets : to consider one is 
equal or better than them is an act of arrogance. Also to refuse to 
obey their commands is also an act of arrogance. This is behaviour 
that was done by ‫ ﻓﺮﻋﻮن‬who considered themselves to be like ‫ﻣﻮﺳﻰ‬ 
and ‫ﻫﺎرون‬.​ They use to say What ! Shall we believe in 2 mortals like 
ourselves…  
The third type which is arrogance with people: is to consider one 
better than others and to consider others lowly. To behave in a 
proud manner with, to walk in front of them.  
Anyone who looks down upon the Muslims and considers himself 
superior to them is like Iblīs who refused to prostrate before 
Hazrat Adam (a.s.) because he considered himself superior. He 
said: 
 
“I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fine, and him Thou didst create of 
dust.” (Surah Sād ) 
The Almighty replied: 
“​That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who 
follows you, all” (Surah Sād ) 
 
Next secondary brunches of evil is l​ ove of filling oneself with 
food:  
The reason why Its evil because when you fill your stomach you 
feel lazy to do ‫ ﻋﺒﺎدات‬similarly when you are hungry you can't focus 
that's why there is a ‫ ﺳﻨﺖ‬way which is ⅓ of a stomach of food,⅓ of 
stomach of water,and ⅓ of stomach of air. In the ‫ ﺣﺪﯾﺚ‬it says "​the 
worst utensil is your stomach" ​ ​ by filling up your stomach one falls to 
do any form of ‫ﻋﺒﺎدات‬. One big thing one can end up eating ‫ ﺣﺮام‬food 
since his love for food is so much he doesn't care what he eats as 
long as he eats. It " ​ you eat what you are"​ b​ asically if you eat haram 
food your behavior is bad . mostly your ‫ ﻋﺒﺎدات‬is not accepted for 40 
days. Imagine you are praying so much and making so much dua 
it doesn't get accepted. There is an example of eating haram food: 
A blender it say D ​ on't blend paint and you do next day it won't 
work right. ​So in the same way Allah is the one who created us. 
So,Allah doesn't want for us something​ i​ s​ ​harmful​.  
Next comes ​love of sleep:  
Now there is 2 type of sleep 1) who likes to sleep. 2) who doesn't 
like to sleep. The reason why sleeping is evil first it waste your time 
now I am not saying not to sleep at all you should to get rest so u 
can do ‫ﻋﺒﺎدات‬. There is saying "‫ "اﻟﻨﻮم اﻟﻈﺎﻟﻢ ﻋﺒﺎده‬the sleep of a ‫ ﻇﻠﻢ‬is a worship. 
Now let's think a person who lives up to 60 years and he sleeps 
every day for 8 hours which is ⅓ of day which equals to 20 years of 
sleep if we read our dua of sleep those years Will be counted in ‫ﻋﺒﺎده‬
. Now when a person sleeps his soul leaves his body and roams 
around. And one should make sure to read their dua and have 
‫ وﺿﻮء‬because it might that he will not wake up. One should also 
sleep In the ‫ ﺳﻨﺖ‬way sleeping on his right side or on his left the 
turn to the right. A person who just ate should sleep on his left 
because the food he are will digest faster. 
Next come ​love of realisation: 
This is one thing that is common in everyone. And one should 
make sure to stay away from it because it leads to evil. How? By a 
person who is always related becomes layer and layer which falls 
into evil.  
The last one is ​love of praise: 
The reason. Why this is evil is that when one loves to be praised he 
become prideful. And he ends up thinking that he is better than 
anyone else. He then avoids elders advice even if it is something 
that benefits him, or religious matters because he thinks that he 
better than anyone else so he doesn't need them. One thinking 
like that can lead him into disobeying Allah since he thinks he is 
perfect. No one in this world is perfect. Just look at the prophets 
the are perfect than us, free from sins and still they follow religious 
matter even though they were promised paradise. And being 
praise can also leads to jealousy which is very common for 
example if person parises their son in front of others they might 
get jealous. There is also dua for it : one can read two surah nas 
and surah falaq. And there are so many others dua like 

  
 

 
In conclusion  
If one stays away from these evil they fall into evil and disobeying 
allah. And they will have a peaceful life and won’t get the 
punishment of Allah.
