Utility Trailer’s Response to COVID-19 Incident Glade Spring Factory

On April 6, Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company learned from local health authorities
that one of its employees at its Glade Spring, VA factory tested positive for COVID-19. The
employee last reported for work on March 30 and has been in self-quarantine since.
Utility identified there were no additional employees who had close contact with the
employee.
Utility continues to monitor the situation and may take additional steps based on what
its investigation reveals.
Utility has initiated various policies to minimize the possibility of infection and
transmission of COVID-19. These include, in summary form:

 Decreasing the density of working personnel and requiring social distancing in all
work interactions to the extent practicable;
 Implementing additional cleaning regimens in the facilities, including longer
times between shifts for cleaning, and sanitizing commonly touched surfaces;
 Implementing additional cleaning and hygiene practices throughout Utility’s
facilities; and
 Restricting business travel by employees and by visitors to Utility facilities;
requiring employees who have travelled to certain countries to self-quarantine
before coming to work
