como se describe anteriormente, en formulación práctica de piensos
para aves:

tener en cuenta que las aristas fibrosas del grano de cebada podrían
dañar las estructuras de la mucosa y de los tejidos blandos alrededor
del pico, afectando al consumo voluntario. Probablemente, los efectos
sobre la salud intestinal de la inclusión de grano entero, adición de
fibra insoluble o suministro del pienso en harina con tamaño grueso
de las partículas, tengan en común su acción dinamizadora del
desarrollo de la molleja, órgano director del TGI y del funcionamiento
correcto del aparato digestivo (Jiménez-Moreno et al., 2009a,b; 2016,
2019; Svihus, 2011, Svihus et al., 2014a,b; Singh et al., 2014).

interacciones, bien entre ellos, bien con otros nutrientes (p.ej., Met,
Cys, colina y betaína). Por ello, el perfil de AA de la proteína ideal no
es una relación fija sino que varía en función de cada situación
particular. Estas diferencias están relacionadas en gran medida con el
estatus higio-sanitario y fisiológico de los pollos (Min et al., 2017).
Por ejemplo, la mucina, capa que protege la mucosa digestiva, es
muy rica en Thr y cualquier proceso de degradación de la misma
incide sobre las necesidades en este AA. Por ello, en caso de
problemas digestivos, cuando se daña la estructura de la mucosa y
aumenta la producción de mucus, la inclusión de cantidades extras
de Thr podría ser beneficiosa (Star et al., 2012; Chen et al., 2017).
En esta monografía no se han tenido en cuenta estas posibles
necesidades y se ha estimado que las necesidades proteicas para
conservación aumentan en términos relativos en relación con la Lys,
con la edad y el PV de las aves.

En caso de alta incidencia de problemas locomotores podría ser recomendable elevar los niveles de
esta vitamina y eventualmente incorporar 25 OH D3 en sustitución de la vitamina D3.

Añadir suplementación extra de vitamina E o alternativas antioxidantes, según objetivos de
producción y de calidad de la canal.

Se recomienda aumentar en piensos en base de trigo y presencia de problemas de pododermatitis.

El cloruro de colina puede ser reemplazado por betaína: 2,17 g de cloruro de colina pura equivalen a
1 g de betaína pura. El uso de betaína, debido a sus efectos sobre la osmolaridad, puede ser útil en
situaciones de estrés, altas temperaturas e incidencia de coccidiosis subclínicas.

Puede estar recomendado suministrar una parte de estos minerales en forma orgánica para mejorar
aspectos de la piel y de la canal, y en casos de niveles máximos restringidos debido a la legislación.

Los factores que más afectan la calidad del albumen, aparte de las
enfermedades y la genética, son la edad de la gallina, la muda, la
frescura del huevo y la temperatura durante el período de almacenaje
de conservación (Williams, 1992). La composición y valor nutricional
del pienso tienen poco efecto sobre la calidad del albumen, excepto
cuando se incluye en el mismo cloruro amónico (NH4Cl) o habas (Vicia
faba). El uso de NH4Cl, en los casos en que esté permitido, reduce el
pH sanguíneo mejorando las unidades Haugh (Hall y Helbacka, 1959).
A cambio, la acidificación de la sangre perjudica los procesos de
calcificación y la calidad de la cáscara. Por otro lado, la inclusión de
habas mejora la calidad del albumen pero a expensas de un menor
tamaño del huevo (Mateos y Puchal, 1982). Otros ingredientes, tales
como el Mg y los coproductos de fermentación, caso de los DDGS,
podrían tener algún efecto positivo aunque no siempre es observable
(Williams, 1992).
Pigmentación de la Yema
Alimentación Diferenciada
ocasionar que un alto porcentaje de las aves perdieran peso. Las aves
que no salen al parque, bien porque así lo desean, bien por limitarse
la salida debido a condiciones climáticas, comerán menos que sus
hermanas y podrían mostrar deficiencias en Ca y P (calidad de la
cáscara) y en AA (menor tamaño del huevo). Por otro lado, dentro de
las aves que salen al parque, el consumo de pienso variará en función
de: 1) comportamiento exploratorio (mayores necesidades de
energía), 2) consumo de posibles alimentos presentes en el parque
(aporte de insectos, hierbas y otros nutrientes sin definir), 3)
emplume y sus efectos sobre las necesidades energéticas de
conservación, y 4) cambios en la temperatura ambiental que
afectarán más a aquellas aves mal emplumadas. De aquí, que en
producciones alternativas, la importancia del nutricionista “puro”
disminuya y la del granjero profesional aumente. Un buen granjero
logra lotes más homogéneos, tanto en comportamiento como en PV,
lo que uniformiza el consumo de pienso y permite al nutricionista
ajustar mejor las características del pienso a las necesidades del lote.
A recordar que si no sabemos el consumo, no podemos formular
correctamente los piensos a suministrar, lo que obliga a aumentar los
márgenes de seguridad.

Utilizar un 60-70% de carbonato en forma granular (>3-4 mm Ø) para facilitar la fluidez
del pienso y mejorar la digestibilidad del Ca y la calidad de la cáscara.

Reducir un 10% en caso de problemas de excretas húmedas. Subir los niveles en un
10-15% en situaciones de calor. Utilizar en su caso bicarbonato para reducir el cloro y
cumplir con el mínimo de sodio.

Niveles máximos podrían ser aplicables en caso de problemas de calidad de cáscara.

Necesidades de termorregulación
Las necesidades se han ajustado a un modelo líneal en función del
peso metabólico de las aves y al diferencial de temperatura esperada
respecto la temperatura de confort de las aves. La temperatura de confort
se ha obtenido por una ecuación cuadrática a partir de los datos de
Andrade (2017) en función de la edad hasta el día 35 de edad de las aves,
teniendo en cuenta las recomendaciones de temperatura de confort y de
sus rangos de validez (Combs, 1968; Emmans, 1974; Sakomura et al.,
2003; Sakomura et al., 2005a; Rostagno et al., 2017)

necesidades energéticas diarias de las reproductoras, tanto en su fase de
recría como en su fase de puesta. Varias de las propuestas descritas en la

Con todo, hay que tener en cuenta que los niveles de aminoácidos en
el pienso, y en particular la lisina, determinan de manera importante el
coste del pienso. Por tanto, en la toma de decisión de estos niveles,
además del criterio técnico-nutricional, es fundamental considerar el
aspecto económico para la rentabilidad de la producción. De este modo,
en función del coste de los aminoácidos, del criterio productivo
(crecimiento, conversión, rendimiento en pechuga, etc.), de la respuesta
del nivel de aminoácidos a estos criterios productivos, del estado
sanitario, de la dispersión de resultados de las granjas, de los márgenes
de seguridad, etc., se recomienda modificar los valores medios propuestos
en estas normas para optimizar el coste de producción por la
alimentación.
