NATIONAL PENSION SYSTEM (NPS - CORPORATE)

Guidelines/ Criteria

• Eligibility – Employees’ annual Fixed Pay > ₹ 300,000


• Employees to submit the application to ICICI Bank POP, were NSDL would create PRAN account.

• Increase is allowed when the complan page is opened (New joiners, existing emp as per policy) but decrease is not allowed till the tenure
with the company, and cannot opt out of the scheme.

• NPS Deduction is from employees fixed pay and PRAN is mandatory for depositing NPS contribution – to be updated in Allsec on or before
17th of the month.

• If the PRAN is not received by 17th of payroll month, the contribution amount will be paid as taxable under Ex-gratia in the current pay cycle.
PRAN received after 17th of the month, the contribution would be deposited in the following month pay cycle.

• Max contribution amount to be equivalent to 10% of Basic and minimum ₹ 500/- can be deposited at a time.

DIGITAL MEAL VOUCHER
▪ Should be a part of compensation plan
▪ Digital meal voucher is a tax-saving meal benefit card powered by Kotak - Zeta.
▪ It can be swiped just like any other debit/credit cards while making payments.
▪ A zeta account is created for each employee opting for the Digital Meal Voucher. Each employee gets the
following payment instruments, linked to this account :
o Zeta app : The zeta app lets you view your meal vouchers balance, make payments and track the
spends conveniently.
o Paymint Card : This is a RuPay powered card, that can be used at any card accepting outlet or
online store to make purchases.
o Zeta Super Tag : This is an NFC based tag (Near Field Communication) that lets you make payments
at the office cafeteria. All you should do is to tap the super tag on the cafeteria vendor’s reading
device to make quick payments, with in just few seconds
▪ This Digital Meal Voucher will work with EDC or POS merchants who have registered their EDC or POS
under the following categories :
o Restaurants
o Food court ( non-alcoholic beverage service)
o Accenture Cafeteria
o Bakery
o Online food apps like Freshmenu, Faasos, Swiggy, Zomato etc.

HOUSING EXEMPTION & DEDUCTION
HRA Exemption Housing Loan Interest

• PAN card has a 10 digit alpha-numeric code, and is issued as a laminated card by the Income Tax Department.
