Comparing my results to what my parents averaged, it can be clearly seen that have
grades being lower between my parents than I gave myself and only five instances where
my parents grade was higher than mine. What this means for me is that I still have a way to
go to meet what I believe about myself and that I need to improve in certain areas. I know
no human can be perfect and grade 5/5 in every category and that is not the intention, my
current goal is to work towards meeting my personal expectations and grades from this
questionnaire. My weakest point seems to be conscientious and I can agree with that
because of my organization skills being poor in my parents (Tidying the bed etc!). I will work
to improve this skill the most in the coming days. At some point in the future I would love to
know how non-family members grade me in such a questionnaire because in some ways my
parents could be bias towards me, or even be more harsh in certain grades.
Skills Inventory:
5= Very True
The results from the skills inventory questionnaire show that my Technical and Conceptual
skills are in the high range at 27 and 28 respectively. But, my Human skills, although in the
high range are at 23 which is only one point higher than the moderate range. I personally
believe that my human skills are in the moderate range and that I have overvalued these
skills in this questionnaire. I believe this sections calls for the most improvement and I will
eb working towards this by being more understanding of others while working in groups as
well as being a more outgoing person as I learned from my second week of this personal
leadership portfolio that I need to be more outgoing and as seen in the leadership trait
questionnaire earlier, I need to be more conscientious. From the results, theoretically I can
maintain a very executive position in a company because all 3 of my skills are in the higher
ranges. This questionnaire would be more accurate I fell if I had other people to compare
results with as well, because I think it is of value to see what my group members think of me
by this questionnaire and how true is skill is to me while they work with me in a group.
