FREE Sample of Very First Reading Comprehension Passages

This set includes 5 reading comprehension passages for


beginning readers. The passage on each page focuses on a
short vowel word family.

The following word families are included: am, eb, im, ot, um, &
eck

Each reading passage focuses on short vowel words and


beginning sight words. Repetitive text is included as practice for
young readers. Four comprehension questions follow each
passage. One question on each page requires a simple, one-
